Coogan makes a Winning Impact
The win was a real family affair, he is owned by my brothers [Bengy Coogan] sister-in-law Beverley Westermann who lives in Germany. He had a nice debut run at Dundalk when finishing fourth he would have appreciated the bit of ease in the ground here this evening. It was grand to get the win and we'll play it by year now.
Bewitched wins Sweet Mimosa Stakes
We rode her a bit differently today, she tanked a bit the last day at Fairyhouse so we missed the break on purpose with her today. We'll step her up to Listed or Group company. We'll try and stick to fillies races and we'll travel if we have to.
Music In The Rain scores for Bolger
I covered the Dam then sold her and then bought him back, so it worked out well. I've no plans, she didn't get it right the first day she ran so we just wanted him to get it right, he's a nice horse.
Wade Giles scores again for Lyons
He's a nice horse and it was a very important win for a new client of mine Pearl Bloodstock. The programme in Ireland is not great for a horse like this but we needed a match and he did it well. There's a Listed Race in Cork and it may come too soon for him but hopefully there's many more wins to come.
Kenny wins aboard Cullofane
I'm delighted for Karen [Kenny] who works very hard in the yard. She finished third on this lad last year at the Curragh. He wasn't himself last season and he appreciated all the rain that fell this evening.
Maybe Grace takes last at Naas
