Bonny Power scores for Lynam and Hayes
Yes (experience stood to her) and back to five furlongs. Amy (Lynam, daughter) picked her out as a yearling, there was a supplementary catalogue and she picked her out for me. Amy has bought me a couple of good horses - Soffia and Romantic Proposal. This isn't in their league, but I thought last year she was going to be okay and she would win. Then she disappointed a few times here over six. She was second in Down Royal (in September) behind Willie McCreery's horse (Ocean Jewel) who would be a black-type horse and we were hoping she could return to that run. She's small, but she is all there. It is always good to win with these colours, they have been good to me.
Flat or jumps, Cromwell calls the tune
She's a very tough filly and tries hard. The last time she ran a bit flat and she probably just needed freshening up and we freshened her up and it worked today. Gavin's horses are in great form and thankfully the Flat horses are in just as good form! Hopefully it continues. I thought that (could transfer her form to the turf), she doesn't quicken as such but she gets to the line really well. I think grass might bring about a little bit of improvement for the summer.
No sweat for Cooler in the maiden
It was imperative that she won her maiden being by what she is by, and she is well bred. Her biggest attribute is she wears her heart on her sleeve, she is very, very genuine. We'll see what the family (Juddmonte) says, we will go back and speak to the family and see what happens. We'll see what the handicapper does and take the next step. With that dirty bit of weather that came in, it was ideal (getting a lead). When your luck is in, everything goes into place.
Consistent Consort gets her turn
She has been knocking on the door and deserves it. She has probably been called a few names but I think she is genuine enough.
Sixth win for Martin's Indiana Grey
She has been threatening to win since she won in Cork. She has invariably been getting poor draws and I always think she is better if she has a rail to run against. Jack got her away well, she travelled really well today and as well as I'd ever seen her travel, and picked up great. I'm so pleased for Jack, he was with me when he was a 12-year-old and they lived in Navan for a long time and then they moved to Castletown and he went to ride out for Noel Meade. I've been giving him a good few spins lately and that's his first winner for me. He's a lovely young fella and he's got a good talent. He's very promising. I think he is halfway through his 7lb claim and he is an astute rider, good hands and he is getting stronger all the time. I will of course (give him more opportunities), I've always tried to look out for a guy on the up - Mikey Sheehy and Dylan (Browne McMonagle) before that. If you can identify them early enough, they can reward you.
McCann's filly runs Circles around them
Absolutely (delighted to get her off the mark), a big thanks to the owners for sticking with her. A lot of people would have pulled out. They were consistent enough runs, but she wasn't getting there. Seamie was a wee bit disappointed the last night for not winning on her, the first time he rode her. He got off her and said he would win on her the next time. This was the first available race he was able to get on her. She was never going to stop with Seamie on her back!. Hopefully there is (another one in her). As Seamie says, it is all about getting her head in front and now we have her head in front.

Ninth win for nine-year-old Tai Sing Yeh
