He wasn't sold at the sales but Roger Marley was my man at the sales and liked him. I like Kodiac (stallion) and said I'd take a chance on him and Roger called it from day one saying he just wants a trip,. He probably should have been second at Galway - Colin taught him his job and it was the winning of today's race. He's a good genuine horse but that is as fast as he wants it.

She had a break and we brought her back to get her started here. Billy Lee didn't want to run her, put that down, as he said the ground might be a bit quick for her!,. She is all heart and they went a good tempo there and my other filly, Colour Blue, ran a blinder and was beaten three short-heads in fourth. She (Erysimum) is my first horse for Barouche Stud and I'm delighted. I'll have to look at a Group 3 now and she'll love a cut in the ground and has all autumn to run.

Day wins a 2nd at Killarney over 2 years on
He has always been a lovely horse but it has taken him two years to come down the handicap. We always thought he'd do that some day and he's a very honest and genuine horse.
