Cooper is back in the winners enclosure
It's great to get the first winner back for the boss. Bryan said he'd a blow after the second last. He likes that trip, and we'll try and find a novice hurdle in about a months' time. It's nice to give Bryan his first winner back as he broke his leg on one of ours (Clarcam).
Elliott doubles up with Taglietelle
I thought his last run at Perth was his best. He was only beaten half a length by Thomas Edison at the Curragh but lost his way a bit after that. He could be a horse to go for the Greatwood Hurdle with a set of blinkers on him. He looked beaten four out today and the blinkers might help him to travel better.
Dai scores on hurdle debut
He's jumped well from the word go. He's taken to hurdles well, and Andy said after turning into the straight he got a bit lonely and that's why he missed the last. Apart from that he jumped great and I'd say he'll only improve. He might go for the winners' race in Down Royal. He's stronger this year, and we should have a bit of fun with him. He still has a reasonable mark on the flat. He'll stick to jumping for now but maybe after Christmas we could look at going back on the flat. He wouldn't want it too heavy as he's not over-big.
Act continues on a winning roll
He's a tough horse. That's his third run in seven days and he had a run over fences ten days before that. If the ground stays good he might go to Galway in ten days time but if not he'll go straight to the sales unfortunately. I would like to try and find someone to keep him at home.
