He's a nice horse and we decided to let him win his maiden hurdle now as he's going chasing next season. It's nice to train a winner for Michael Earls, the boss of Easyfix, and it's more special given these are Easyfix hurdles!

Luke said he'd have been an unlucky loser as he said he got wiped out by the loose horse turning-in. I thought we were beaten but it was a great thrill to win and he might run again - I'd like to try him on good ground but his owner/breeder Cyril Kieran isn't in favour. He's a grand horse now but had been very hard and a bit mad at home.
