Wildcat Claims the first for Lyons and Keane
We've got these old stalwarts in the yard, him and Tony The Gent tomorrow, and it's a shame but my job is to win races with them. I have a field full of older horses, like The Reaper, and that's where they end up out in a field. They are put in a claimer to win races which will help Colin's agenda and help my agenda. If somebody claims them, with the prize-money it's more than we'd get in the sales ring. If they don't claim them sure won't we carry on in this vein and win a few more races. It's a little bit disrespectful to the horse because he deserves a bit better than that. He struggles in handicaps and in that grade it was just nice to see him doing it. I won't be surprised to see him claimed, my horses are put in to be claimed and if they are claimed they are claimed.
Geometrical and Manning plot the shortest route home
The mile brought out the best in him,. He had a good run the last day, even over six furlongs. He's a good sort and can go anywhere now over seven to a mile. I wasn't sure he would handle that ground.
Arabeska likes her trips to Gowran
The plan was to jump and lead but she missed the kick. She's a grand filly. For some reason she doesn't run as well on straight tracks but then she did run a cracker down in Cork when John Oxx's horse beat us. He didn't move us in the handicap for that but then put us up 8lb for winning here. She liked that ground and she stayed well. I'd love to stick a bit of black-type on her by the end of the year. She's after winning two races now and she's really for the breeding end now. It gives us more of an option that she did that on that ground. I thought she battled well to do it when she got out.

Slatterys' Metier has found his calling
I told Mr Garvey that he had improved a stone since Down Royal. We gave him a break, he's a big raw horse. He could end up a Cup horse next year, he's so raw and big, he's a fair horse. This is as short as he'd want to go. He might end up going for this year's Irish Cesarewitch. I thought the ground mightn't be soft enough for him today. He'll go on any kind of ground but stamina is his thing. He's a mile-and-a-half, mile-six or maybe two mile horse eventually. He had a mark of 73 today but he won't have that now. It's all about next year with him. He ran here last year and was fourth in a goodish maiden but he was a big clown and didn't know what to do. He's still a bit the same and he said he was idling out in front and waiting for the horses. I think next year with a bit of luck he could be a very very good horse. We could be going for those nice staying races. That's where we are hoping to be.
Cleary makes all on Farrell's favourite
I'm absolutely delighted for the horse as he's the yard favourite.
Heaven sticks to the golden Highway
The ground was the big issue with her as she hasn't really got soft ground since she was a two-year-old. All last year she was running on dry ground. We thought there would be improvement in her on that ground and we were just hoping that she retained her ability on it. She's a well-bred filly so hopefully she can win another one.
