Silver plays a classy Hand at Ballybrit again
I think he won that race before (in 2010). We changed our minds . we had him in the novice chase but we decided to go for this when the ground was so heavy. He's really a good ground horse but he got away with it there. We'll probably go back over fences now. His jumping was bit scrappy early on but that can often happen with horses that have been over fences going back hurdling. He ran a cracker in the Coral Cup when he was fourth but the ground went against him after that.
No problem for Flying Light at Galway
That was overdue. We might look at a two mile flat race at Navan next and he'll probably come back here for a novice hurdle at the October meeting. (AM & EM)
Fosters on top at Galway again
He jumped well and he'd run well against Rebel Fitz at Cork the last day. He has a decent mark over fences and it was a nice pot to get.
Muir Heads off Palo on his way to Kerry
He is on his way to the Kerry National and we were trying to give him as easy a race as possible. He's only just won by a head but I'd suppose an inch is as good as a mile.
Mireya provides Harrisons with a lovely boost
She's very game and really tries her heart out. The win is a good tonic for my Mum. (AM & EM)
