Socially Distant makes winning start over hurdles
She is a very nice mare and has a wonderful pedigree. It's probably not ideal that she has lost her novice status but I'm just glad she won. Her first run was very good, then she was too free the second day and then we ran her too soon. Today she settled lovely and Bryan gave her a lovely ride and I think she is a very nice filly. I've no plans for her but she handles that ground very well.
In-running carnage as Jody Ted opens account
He ran well the first day and then we went back for a bumper and it just didn't work out. The last day was a little bit of a disaster up in Leopardstown. Anyway, he made up for it today. It was a funny type of race. I thought he had plenty to do but this course rides testing since they switched the other way. When he was making up the ground, I could see the horses in front tying up and I thought at least he'll get to them. It's Mark's first win for his father in those colours, so it's an important win for him. I'm sure there is great excitement in the McDonagh household. We'll see how he comes out of this. He probably had a tough race today. We will probably look at some of those rated novice races. We'll see what kind of mark the handicapper gives him first.

Bythesametoken escapes final hurdle drama in Wexford feature
I'm delighted with him and he is a classy horse. He has stepped up from his run in Naas. He is a horse that had a little bit of a winter break and it suited him great. The main worry today was the ground and that's why he had a winter break. We have the spring and summer now to look forward to with him. You'd never know, he could progress even more in the spring time and somewhere along the line he will jump a fence because he loves jumping. It was a lovely pot to win today and he is a lovely horse to have. The smaller field suited him, he likes to be ridden patiently and to be passing horses. Conor thought he was going to win everywhere. He rode him for the first time the last day and he got to know him and it made all the difference today. He gave him a lovely ride and he said he is just a horse who is better following horses and he relaxes a bit more in his race then. It took a while to figure him out, but we got the hang of him and he has been a very consistent horse the last year. The plan was to jump a fence with him, but when he ran so well the other day we thought there might be another good pot in him over hurdles. He seems to have got better with time.

Foster opens account at Cullentra with Defi Bleu
That's a great start for Sneezy and long may it continue. Hopefully we will have plenty of luck together now. It's great for Jack, the horse and the whole team at Cullentra House. It's a great lift for the whole team who have been doing such a great job and I'm just delighted for each and every one of them.
The Gossiper scores in good style for Mullins cousins
He is a lovely horse to look forward to. He was very unlucky in his point-to-points - he tipped up both days he ran, Sam Curling had him then. With the point-to-points shutting down, his owner decided to give me a go with him. It's great for John (McEnery), who is in Rossenarra Stud in Kilkenny. We have a bit of dealings with John through the Mee's as he looks after their horses on their down time. He done that well today. Patrick had sat on him at home and was very keen to ride him here today. He is exciting and I'd imagine we will probably keep him as a novice for next season. When the ground gets better, he will improve again being by Dylan Thomas. It was probably just ability that got him through today.
