Russell gets tune out of Motown Maggie
That was great and she was very gutsy. We put cheekpieces on her today and I'd say it definitely helped her. Davy gave her a good gutsy ride and she stayed galloping well. I loved the way she put her head out. She has a couple of runs now so she'll get a mark. We could look for a mares' handicap hurdle somewhere.
Gabynako impresses Cromwell in Fairyhouse
He was very good and jumped brilliant, it was an exhibition of jumping really,. I have him entered in the (Grade One) Drinmore, I had it in my mind that it might be a bit sharp for him but the way he jumped there maybe it won't. On slower ground, which he has no problem with, we'd definitely be considering it.
Stand Off up and running over fences
He always seemed like a horse that would make a better chaser than hurdler. He's taken to jumping fences well so let's hope he progresses without aiming too high. You'd be hoping that eventually he might develop into a three mile chaser. We might go up in trip to two-and-a-half miles the next day.

Christie eyes bright future for Vaucelet
That was lovely because he's such an immature horse in his head. Even though he won an Open the first day it was a nothing race and the last half lap he was just on his own cantering, so it was no preparation for that up against a hardened horse. He did it well and Barry said he was always travelling easy but it's when he has to give him a shove he still doesn't know to do it straight away yet. When he hits the front, it's still like 'what am I doing here?'. That will all come, he's only six but has the right engine and jumps really well. He could be the proper horse for me to go to Cheltenham with for the Foxhunters. He could go to Down Royal but I'm not going to run him on really deep winter ground.
Fulysse returns to land a gamble
We're delighted with that. She has a few problems and she's hard to keep right,. She ran well in a beginners chase for us in Tipperary but she's had her problems. We said we'd give her one more chance and it worked out. She appears to have a bit of ability and that was her first run for a good while. It was nice to get a winner and Paul (Bannon) gave her a great ride in fairness to him.
Elliott doubles up with Happy D'ex
Jamie was happy. She's going to improve an awful lot as she had a real good blow,. She won a three runner point-to-point and Jamie said she'll learn plenty from that. The softer ground the better she'll be. She could go for that Listed bumper in Navan and if not we'll go jumping hurdles. She's a nice mare but a mare for the future really.
Elliott fires in Fairyhouse treble through Glenglass
He's a grand horse, he's a big horse to go jumping,. I'd say the jockey won it at the start but Jamie said what he got at the start he gave away at the bend. I'm very happy with him and he'll be alright. He'll go hurdling now.
