Duffle does the job in style on debut
He's a brother to a good horse (Starchitect) but he's never even been on grass and that's the first time he's ever worked properly,. We got a few of them in a bit of a package deal. He was just hacking away, he wasn't showing us much so we said we'd run him just to see where we were and to start him off. He looked good, he travelled into it well. He has to be a smart horse because he has nothing done. Keith said he'll improve a stone from it, he said he was very green.

Dewcup off the mark over flights
He couldn't do much more. I was worried about him in front as he's a bit cold jumping. He's a good leaper but you need someone like Mark on him to make up his mind and he jumped well. He won well. The next step now is a winners of one and all those horses that are after winning will be together, and then you'll know because if one horse kicks them out of the way he's going to beat all of them. If he's good enough to win a winners of one he'll go to the next step. We'll know the next day if he's a handicapper or up to a better grade. He's big enough to go and jump a fence and he's bred to get a trip as the dam was second in the Ascot Stakes for John Queally. Stamina shouldn't be a problem. He'll win plenty of races. He'll more than likely go to Listowel for something.

Monas Melody finds right notes for Curling
That's great, she had a grand run the first day. I'm delighted for Alfie (Sweetnam) who owns the third filly as well, she'll come on plenty for the run. The winner is a lovely filly, she has a great pedigree. I'm not sure what the plan is whether he wants to keep her or sell her. She'll be a lovely filly over two-and-a-half miles . She'd only ever be doing enough for you and I'd say she'll improve plenty again. If she stays she'll go for a winners' bumper.
Gordon's Jet seals double for Elliott
I'd say the winner is a nice horse. He has nothing done and is very raw,. We think the second horse is nice too. We have a few nice horses to run. It's nice for Lisa to get a winner as well, she's a big part of the team and with Gigginstown not having as many bumper horses things got a bit slower for her. It just goes to show when she has the right horse she's as good as anyone.
