It's very hard to keep him right as he has very bad feet. I have to take my time with him,. I knew he was in good form today though . he was eating at me when I was saddling him up. I have two in training and the other one, Ballyine ran in the previous race and he was fourth.

It was a bit unexpected. We had to wait and bide our time for the right ground. He wasn't letting himself down on the ground at Ballinrobe. Today he 'ballooned' the first and he's a gassy sort of horse.

He loves fences . he attacks them. I don't know how ground dependent he is but we'll keep going as long as it doesn't go against us. He'll go for a novice handicap now at Ayr in three weeks time.

He's a grand horse but he was very weak and Tony did the right thing and took his time with him. He's not a bumper horse and he's more of a chaser. I'm sure he'll probably go hurdling first.
