That was a nice surprise but the bit of better ground helped big time. She's not been overly straight-forward to train. Luke gave her a lovely ride and she'll give the lads plenty of fun over the summer.

He was very weak up to now but he turned inside out in the last couple of weeks. He's a nice horse and hopefully he'll keep progressing. He won't run on summer ground - not this year anyway - he'd want it safe.
Walsh & McManus double-up with Peoples
His experience counted and he jumped and galloped away well. He was entitled to do that on his rating and he got a lovely ride from Mark. He could keep going or he could go on his holidays. Either way, he won't be running on quick ground anyway.
Liberty's another Gift for the bookies
He'd been working so well but he was such a big price you'd be put off having a bet. We'll keep him chasing this year and if he's in good form he might go to Killarney. He'll stay to flat tracks. It's more likely that he could come back here at the end of the month for a nice handicap.
Middlebrow another for Doyle
He didn't stay in his point-to-points. He was the winner there at the third and even second last but didn't get home. He's always worked brilliant and I asked the owner if I could have a crack at a bumper with him so thankfully it's worked out. He's entered in the sales in Doncaster.
