Eadbhard a welcome winner for Duffy

I've gone a while without a winner so it's badly needed! . He's a handy little horse who we only claimed recently and he has come on since Roscommon. He needed the experience against older horses at Cork the last day and the small field tonight suited him. I'm delighted for the owner John Keogh, from Newbridge, who is a very good friend of mine and that's three winners for him now in two years.

She did well to win and nothing went her way and she struggled to handle the first couple of bends. She was seven wide turning in so it was good. I gave Billy (Lee) a bit of stick last week for winning too far at Ascot (on Settle For Bay) so he said to me there 'I hope I didn't win too far!'. I'm delighted for her owners, breeder Sean Murphy and Mick Gill too and hopefully she'll win another few for him and she'll be a nice breeding prospect. She might even improve because she is a fine big filly.

Cypress Creek makes all to land the odds

I put him out in front and kept things uncomplicated on him and he was entitled to do that. He got a bit of experience and it was his first time around a more complicated track and it was nice to get a win into him. I didn't win by half a furlong or anything but he was only doing what he had to do. We won't know how good he is until we step him up.

Touch landed with Bibliotheca

This track seemed to suit her and she was second here twice last year and was touched off one day. She was due one. The plan was to make the running if she could get out (from a wide draw in 13) and everything worked to plan for a change. She was flattered but it's great to win. She was (rated) 70 this time last year and she ran well in Roscommon when she couldn't get to the front and was only beaten 5l and the third and the fifth have won since.

. She was brilliant around the track and she took the paint off the rails. She gave me a great spin and was a push-button job today. She could be tailor-made for Galway and she stays well too.
