Ellie Mac sparks joyful scenes after 50/1 win
De Bromhead doubles up with Paloma Blue
I probably got it wrong, the trip, for his first run in Naas as he was a bit fresh. We came back to two (miles) and he looked very green the last day. He’s still a big baby and has taken a lot of work in the last few weeks and has gone from strength to strength. I’m delighted to get a winner here for Chris (Jones, owner) and his family. I hope he’s a Graded horse and possibly we’ll aim at the new Festival weekend back here in February.
Stowaway sparks into action for Mullins
He got there handily enough. I suppose the better ground helped and, at this stage of his career, this is a better trip for him.
Footpad is foot perfect at Leopardstown
He's electric. From the first day at home that I saw him jumping over fences I thought he was the best I've seen for a long while. He was good on his debut at Navan but today he was just awesome. He gained lengths at his fences and he's one to really look forward to. I'd imagine he'd come back here for a similar type of race at the new Dublin Festival of Racing (Leopardstown, February 3-4) and then, hopefully fingers crossed and everything stays right, on to Cheltenham.
Tisamystery completes de Bromhead 4334/1 treble
It’s been a great afternoon and Liam was brilliant. I literally just booked him for the ride about five minutes ago. Davy Russell recommended him after Jack (Kennedy) sadly got stood down.
Blackbow looks another good one for the O'Leary's
Patrick said he worked very well one day when I was away and he was right. He's one to look forward to, and will improve as he's so big and backward. Hopefully he's one for the Cheltenham bumper, and this is usually a good race.
