Capitulation refuses to yield in Bellewstown
She was very unlucky the last day in Leopardstown when she was flying home. She wasn't in love with this track but Chris said despite that she stayed at it well. It's great for the lads because there is a ten grand bonus there. That's the second one we've got this year so we'll have to shop at the yearling sales. She didn't cost a whole pile of money. The lads are great loyal owners and we've been very lucky to get her. We might sell her now, she's rock solid and there will be plenty of fun to be had with her. She's a filly that could probably get in off bottom weight in the Birdcatcher or something like that if the ground was right.
Fictitious Lady gets her winning bracket
It was a great ride and it was very unlucky for the other horse to be chinned,. Someone said to me 'did you get up?' and I said 'I definitely got up anyway but I don't know what one won!'. It's well deserved, she was bred by John Fagan and his son Peter in Deerpark Stud. We've been trying to get a win with this filly for a long time and finally got one, thank God. We'll try and find a bit of black-type for the rest of the year. She would have got a lot of confidence there because she's been chinned twice herself. Billy said she loved it in behind, and she dictated (in previous races) because we wanted to make it but she just sat in the stalls a bit. I'm delighted as it's the first time John has been racing and he was seventy last week so it's a great present for him.

Ecliptic Moon delights Slevin
We had a winner at this meeting for the last few years so it's nice to come back again. We try and get one every year, I only had two runners and this was my last dart to throw so I'm delighted,. He's won twice on the all-weather and we were starting to wonder was he just an all-weather horse. In fairness, he did it well tonight and we might stick to the grass until the end of the season before going back to Dundalk.
Ryan produces Noble Seal to win
Manning drives That's Mad home
That was brilliant. I think he ran a bit flat in Cork last time, it was 12 days after his win. He's freshened up well since and I think we'll do the same again now, run him again in about 30 days. Kevin said he hit a divot and thought he was going to be beat but he fought back well. It was a premier handicap last time in Cork and I think he would have run a bit better in it if he'd had longer between races. The Joe McGrath is coming up and he could possibly go for that.

Townend and No Thanks repel the closers
We're delighted with that and Jody gave him a peach of a ride,. He's very straightforward, he's tough and he's genuine. I was a little bit concerned as it's only three weeks since Galway and he ran three times in a week there. That was in the back of my mind. He was in great form at home though. My son James rode him this morning and said he nearly bucked him off coming back in from the gallop. We'll look for something similar and he'll stay on the Flat for the moment. He stays very well.
