She was due her turn as she's a consistent little mare and is tough out. She is consistent but just met a few too good for her in the past,. I always thought she wanted better ground but she is handling the softer ground now and with maturity and strength she is getting better.
Maxwell off the mark on Stay With It
On his last run you'd have to give him a fair shout. He's the stable pet, is an absolute gent of a horse and has been in the frame for us plenty times but that's his first time getting his head in front,. It's great for Dillon who works in the yard with us and is a brilliant fellow to have and is a great worker and as you can tell from that, he is well able to ride too - he's been with me for a year. Nat Lacy (Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors), who sponsored the E50,000 Cheltenham Bonus Stable Staff prize won by Let's Dance, is involved in the horse and I'm delighted for him too.

McNamara records first double after Val cruise
The original plan was to go to Thurles for a hurdle race at the weekend but I entered for this also. He isn't an exceptional jumper but I thought this was worth a go and we may now have a look at the Thurles race also. His jumping was as good as I've ever had him put in and I'd be lost without Dillon (Maxwell, who rode the trainer's earlier winner) who helps with his schooling - hopefully someone doesn't rob him off me now!. We're not that busy at the moment - I've 10 horse to run for the summer and I was nervous coming here today because if things didn't want well, we'd have been struggling for the summer! It worked out great though and I'm delighted.

Rasher gives Lalor first brace
I had my first winner here and this is my first double so it proving a lucky track for me!,. He is a nice horse and was just unlucky in his point to points - he fell a couple of times when he was going very well and thankfully it all came together today. He has a high cruising speed and hopefully he'll be sold now and race in someone else's colours the next day.
