Hard Core proves best of Oliver trio

Obviously I'm very happy to have the first and second and he did it well,. He had a nice introduction at Leopardstown although he's still a bit green. It was a nice patient ride by Shane and he has a great attitude. Hopefully there is still more improvement to come. I'm also happy with the runs of the other two fillies.

Whitey shows liking for track

He likes it better here than anywhere else,. The wee bit of cut in ground helped as he was a bit sore after Downpatrick last time. A mile-and-two and going that bit faster helped him settle better today. We'll probably keep him to the Flat for the moment. He definitely needs a stiff course over a mile-and-two.

If the handicapper was right he should have won tonight as he was 6lb well in. Hopefully he won't be too hard on him,. He's just in great form and got a great ride from a terrible draw. He's in at Limerick again on the weekend but has to carry a 5lb penalty on top of his reassessed mark. Maybe he'll go for something at the Curragh on Derby weekend. He seems versatile enough trip wise.

I'm delighted for Ricky. It's his first winner of the season and he's working very hard,. It was a bit of a risk running her so quick and we'll probably give her a bit of time off now as she's had a few quick runs. I definitely think there is a bit of black-type in her.

Fox scores again for Keanes

He's in again at Down Royal on Saturday but that might be a bit greedy. We'll see how he is in the meantime,. He's a grand horse and takes no training once he's fit. He didn't have a saddle on him from last Wednesday to last Sunday and has only done a couple of canters.
