Lilywhite Legend pleases RTE viewers
Prendergast has his job done with Dandy
She came to me from Paul Flynn and to be fair to to Paul he told me she would win one. I'd say she has just strengthened up,. I didn't look beyond trying to win a maiden with her. The guys are owner/breeders so I'd say that would be the long term plan. We'll see what sort of rating she gets but she is ready for stud. I'd say she will get further on better ground. I was expecting heavy ground this morning, and if it was I was going to take her out. I'm glad I didn't!
Apparition wins for the O'Briens
Silver gets her opening at Killarney
This jockey is going to give me heart failure. He's won two races for me by about half an inch. It's great to win with her as she's been trying long enough. You need everything to bounce for you in these races, and it just worked out today.
O'Shea and Blackmore off mark on level
He's my stable-star and is very versatile like his rider. Great credit to Rachael who gave him a cracking ride. I was very concerned about the ground but I must mention Ger O'Leary who convinced me to run him. He'll probably go over fences next. That's what we initially had in mind for him this year, and he'll probably go to Kilbeggan in two weeks time. We'll see whatever rating we get here and probably mix it away with him. I always knew he was a good stayer, and spotted this race about three or four weeks ago. It's my first winner on the Flat, and he was my first runner on the Flat at Clonmel last time. Rachael knows him inside out now, and has won four on him.
Shin wins on second start for Hogan
It was a great ride by Killian. He's been coming into me the last few Saturdays and claims a valuable 5lb. The horse battled well for him. He's been on the improve lately at home. He's one for Galway as he stays and will come up the hill. He's by Cape Cross but likes a bit of an ease.
