Zamroudpour's attitude impresses McDonogh
Espere starts her career off with a win
I'm delighted with that and she is by a stallion (Elusive Pimpernel) which we adore and we can't get enough of them. He is throwing great guts and presence into his horses and Mrs Patino obviously owns this horse and the sire so it's a massive plus. This race was an ideal race for her as she was going to get an allowance from the winners and 3lbs for not having had a run and we like her. She'll want 1m2f in time but this was ideal to start her off. She was green and will come on a tonne from it.
Agent Zigzag surges home to get off the mark
He has improved a bit from race to race. He is getting into the swing of it now and we'll see what the handicapper does now. He is a nice, big, good-looking horse. We didn't run him as a two-year-old and had a setback last year and we ran out of time. It has taken him this long to become a racehorse. He gets through the heavy ground but he's a bit better when it dries.
Lisard Lady right back to form in Killarney
She is a smart filly and showed what she did at Down Royal on her debut. She was sold for big money to America but unfortunately it fell through and we were left with her but I'd say she is a very nice filly. She gets a mile well and ran exactly as she did when winning at Down Royal. She could be a black-type filly and she has trained on now which is a big help.
Total Demolition job in Killarney
He worked well at Navan racecourse a couple of weeks ago but you never know when you're coming here. He's a devil in the stalls and would wreck your head but was back down to a winnable mark. Nothing else counts only Galway and Listowel and he'll have one more run before Galway - he won there in 2016.
Emperor Waltz brings up 135/1 double for McDonogh
He (Emperor Waltz) seems to love it around here and got his ground. He'll go for another long distance handicap now and will jump a hurdle again in the summer - he didn't like the ground when he ran over hurdles last December. Nelson Road also ran a cracker and our horses are coming into a bit of better form.
Murphy doubles up in last through Brazos
