55/1 cross card double for McCourt
We fancied the lad (Stamp Of Authority) in Listowel. Jamie Osborne stabled his horses with me and he was second there. It was a good result,. My Good Brother has been dropping down, he only got 3lbs for winning the last day. He'll probably get a bit more this time. He seems to be getting his confidence back, he's coming back to himself. If he's well enough he'll go to Dundalk on Friday week.
Burren View enjoys day at the beach
She's been very good, I think that's nine wins for her. I've had two or three with her and she has been with me the last year and a half to two years. She travelled well, she loved the surface and the new surroundings. She just travelled stronger than ever,.
Free Running shows plenty of dash
She came and had a few issues but she won very well there with her ears pricked. We were happy with her. She was in at the weights and it was probably the best race for her. It was a good opportunity for her. She has a lot of good form on all-weather. James (Mescall) picked her out at the sales and liked her. He wanted to have a winner here so it's good for him. She'll go to Dundalk, there's a couple of fillies' handicaps there for her.
Emperor Bob rules in Laytown
I'm delighted for the owner who has pubs in Dublin and Bray. He's always had ability and I think he just came alive here, it suited him well. We just wanted to jump and rock and roll with him today. A couple of runs he has been disappointing on varying ground. He won a Dundalk maiden as a two-year-old first time out so obviously likes that surface.
"Old rascal" Korbus wins another
He travelled so well. He travelled terribly well in Killarney and he didn't quite find it. He's an old rascal. Even working at home, if he hits the front the worst horse in the Curragh can get to him!. He has had four consistent runs this year. We'll be careful with him, we are holding him together a bit. He's had lots of problems over the years. We might just say that's enough - one more race at the most. It's mighty here! My dad told me the only time he met the Aga Khan was here. Dad had won the Oaks for him and he met him here.
