Ormsby takes Killarney's opener
he needs better ground - all the family are soft ground horses and Ronan said he is still idle and maybe to step him up in trip. He’s so lazy at home and Ronan gave him a lovely ride. The handicapper killed me by giving him 17lbs for his third place finish in a maiden and if he gives me a whack after this, I’m in real trouble. I’ll go the handicap route and that’s as soft as he wants it.
Twomey hails 'very good' Roche ride
Leigh seemed to use his head and gave him a very good ride and the horse seemed to put his head down and try there.

Hidden Cyclone warms up well for Galway
Lilly The Lioness shows her courage
You could do anything with her - hurdles/fences and back on the flat and she is hardy as nails. To be squeezed out going to the last and still win is fantastic. She is better and stronger this year and really enjoys racing. Pat (McCarthy, owner) is a brilliant man and to be honest I don't know what I would have done without him over the last number of years as things were quiet - I couldn't be happier for the mare and for Pat, especially, to win a Graded race. We'll have a think about Galway with her.
Kilcrea has too much for Na Trachtalai Abu
The rain was a big help and it slowed up the rest of them. Philip gave him a super ride and was able to dictate from the front. He's due a change of address as I was saying to Michael (O'Driscoll, owner) last week so if he goes up much in the handicap maybe he belongs in England but we'll see - we're not going to give him away or anything! . He has given us great fun and he'd be a terrific ride for the Topham (Chase at Aintree).
