Rose Milan easily wins opening hunter chase
she was third staying on in her first run at Dromahane and the next day she was outclassed by a good mare of Damian Murphy’s. She pulled a muscle and was off for two months but has been in training for about eight months and was super fit. She’s honest and tough. I don’t know where we’ll go with her now. She’s owned and bred by a Waterford man Mark Walsh.
Dual point winner off the mark on hunters chase debut
Game on for hunters as Stand Up wins early 'Fight'
that was a pleasant surprise and obviously Aine has found the key to him as his last couple of runs were very disappointing. We had notions about him before and brought him to Cheltenham last year when he finished sixth but there has been a question mark about him ever since. We did all kinds of tests but nothing showed up. We put blinkers on him today and they have done the trick. Obviously we were lucky with the mistake of Billaway but they are there to be jumped. We were thinking of going for a cross country race at Punchestown with him but it looks like he’ll have to stay hunter chasing now.
Mahon wins first race of 'JT' Series
he made a mistake at the last and had a good look around but in fairness he battled hard to the line.

Cawley and McCormack combine for Fairyhouse win
on paper it looked a good opportunity and it’s grand to get one. He’s been knocking on the door for a while. I always felt he wanted three miles but I said we’d give this a go (over 2m3f) and give Cathal a spin on him as he works in the yard for me. He didn’t do anything wrong.
'Man for all seasons' completes Fairyhouse double
she (Sayce Gold) was a bit free going to the start and that was the plan to make it if nothing went on. She got a canny ride. Trevor (Hemmings) was next door to us long ago and where we are living now we got it off him. He’s been good to us and is very good to people in Cork. I’ll have to talk to Mick Meagher (Hemmings' racing manager) and see what they want to do.
