Pylon responds to Pressure from Power
It was a nice performance considering he jumped very big and deliberate down the back, and got out of the race when I thought he had a chance at the fifth last. His stamina just won it for him by staying on when the others had probably gone a little too fast out in front. He made the best of it but was probably fortunate enough to win. He has plenty of stamina and has no problem going a longer trip. I'll be trying to seen what I can win at home with him next.
Hawk Eye Down records 25/1 surprise under Meyler
Somoza justifies good support in maiden hurdle
He's improving all the time and Davy was happy with him. He was good, is a brilliant jumper and when he meets a fence, he'll be better again. Whether he'd go jumping fences next or not I'm not sure but I'd imagine he will next season. I'm not sure if he'll go through the summer but we'll see nearer the time.
De Bromhead doubles up with Mount Hanover
He is tough as he looked beaten again today but puts his head down and keeps going. He likes to tank away a little bit and is very genuine and I'm delighted with him. He's got a couple of entries in Cheltenham and the Michael Purcell race back here in March is another contender. I'll speak to Sally (Rowley-Williams, owner)) and see what she'd like to do. He'll definitely go chasing next season as that's really his game.
Morris bridges lengthy gap with Magnier
He is learning every day and is a next year horse really. I'll give him another run somewhere and he's ok - he'll do me. My last winner for Mr Magnier was Attitude Adjuster (ridden by Ted Walsh to win the Foxhunters Chase in 1986).
Russell records near 23/1 treble at Thurles
Clinton Hill justifies favouritism in bumper
He improved nicely from the last day and he gallops and stays. We'll look for a winners' bumper next month.
