I'm very happy with her, she did it well enough,. Billy said they went a good gallop, he was only biding his time and got a lovely trip around the inner. The gap came but Robbie Colgan kind of closed it and it just came in time again. The top of the ground seems to be the key to her. She was very weak as a two-year-old and this season she seems to be getting stronger. Hopefully the handicapper is not too hard on her.
Latrobe back in the winners enclosure
The main reason for coming here was that Lloyd and Nick (Williams) felt that it would be important to get a win under his belt this year and then we could make a plan for the second half of the year. He has options all over the place. He could go to Australia but he has options in America as well, there are places like Japan and there are big races here as well. I'm not sure where exactly he's going to go yet. He seems pretty versatile trip-wise as he's ran well at ten furlongs and also at one-mile-six this year. It was a messy race but he did have the right position. Donnacha said he always felt like he was well in command. You'd be delighted to get his head back in front. He won nicely. He's doing things right now as he's gone completely relaxed. I probably ended up going a bit slow for my own good but it's nice the way he switched off like that and he stays well in the last two furlongs, there is plenty in there. He's a lovely horse and I'm sure there are plenty of options for him.

71/1 double for Billy Lee at Leopardstown
The faster the ground the better. He ran so well in Dundalk and he just wants nice quick ground. He's a horse that had a wind issue and I thought coming up the hill in Galway wasn't the job for him. We thought he had performed so well in Dundalk and the like of here was similar on quick ground. It's brought the best out of him.
Galeola thriving for Lavery and Colgan
The ground really worried me because we thought she was better on soft but Robbie said she strode out to her chin. He said when he came in that there was no doubt because he was taking a pull the whole way and he said the hardest job was holding her. I threw her into the Give Thanks Stakes at Cork on Sunday. I think she's at that level. Being a filly it's worth trying. I'll see how she comes out of this tomorrow but I think I would like to go and try and get a bit of black-type.
