He had been running well on the flat and I thought he'd a fair shot here. It's good to get a winner and we'll keep him going on the flat and over hurdles as long as there's a dig in the ground. He's big enough to jump a fence too.
McNamara seen good effect
That was badly wanted. She has been a good servant to us, she's got black type after winning a race here 2 years ago. She hasn't been herself lately but we got a fella in and she seems to be back to herself and as long as she stays sound we'll keep her going.
We were hoping the rain came before the race but it worked out well thank god and he will be put away now for the season.

That was great, it's her first run over hurdles. She won on the Flat in England and we bought her from Darley. She disappointed us a bit on the flat last season but I think we can still win a flat race with her yet.
