Rhythm King dances in under Ryan
He's a grand horse, once the ground is soft. He really needs soft ground,. He won well in Gowran in soft and was unlucky in Galway. He won very well here today and he's something to look forward to. He was a little bit unlucky behind Duke Of Leggagh (in Galway) who has been second in a good handicap and won since. We were hopeful for today. We might have a look at a nicer race, he grinds it out and puts his head to the floor and tries.
First track winner for Ian Donoghue
It's nice to get it. We thought we had a few ready when I got the licence first, I think the first seven all finished in the prize-money. We didn't really think it would be her. She was bought in an online sale, we said we'd buy her and see what she is and she might go jumping. She probably will end up going jumping. She might stay on the Flat and then go jumping in the middle of the summer. I got on to a few lads and they said she was hard work and a bit awkward but she hasn't put a foot wrong for us. We treat her like she's a point-to-pointer really and I suppose she's tired and she can't play up. She jumped well and that was the main thing as I said to Gary I was worried about the stalls. I said to Gary 'if you jumps well you'll be grand, at least she'll stay galloping'. She's fit, she galloped last Friday around Dreapers on that ground with four-year-old point-to-pointers. She knew she'd stay, we weren't worried about that. We knew a mile would be her minimum and we'll step her up the next day and see what happens. There are a few lads involved along with my Dad. It's great for them as Trishknowsbest didn't run well in those colours on Sunday at Downpatrick. It's nice to get off the mark as I was looking last night and I think she's our 24th runner. We're only five minutes down the road as well so it's great. We've hunted all our lives and I rode a few winners point-to-pointing. I was always too heavy and probably not good enough as well. My main business would be pre-tra

We're very happy with him. He's been gelded over the winter and Shane felt that he really wants to do it now. He took a while to get his head in front last season but he's gotten an awful lot stronger over the winter. He was really brave there, he had a bit of experience around here as he was second to today's runner-up here last season. We'll step him up gradually and he's a nice horse for his connections to have fun with. Stepping up in trip will be no problem and I think he goes on any sort of ground.

Carroll doubles up on Cromwell's dual-purpose filly
That was grand to win again with her. She didn't travel very well early but she gets the trip well. She stuck at it well and she was game. She was probably in front plenty soon enough and I thought she might have pulled herself up but she stayed going well. I've no plan but she can mix it, we'll see what the handicapper does, but she certainly will have a go on the Flat again.
Keane completes double on Star Kissed
That's job done. We were delighted that the race was put back on after Saturday as there are no races for four-year-old and upwards maiden until, I think it's the 8th of May. I'm not saying she's ground dependent but she's a big filly and would appreciate a cut. We were very worried that we'd have to wait for so long for the next maiden. The whole objective was for her to come today and get her maiden out of the way and then progress. She took two good heaves and she's still very green so hopefully the race will bring her on an awful lot. Onwards and upwards with her and the aim is black-type but we'll take it from here.
