Via Ballycroy shows the way
that's a consolation for the other day at The Curragh where she lost her chance coming out of stalls (in the Paddy Power Handicap) and got knocked around a bit. This was a lovely race and conditions suited. Shane kept it simple on her and we'll try and look for a bit of black-type with her now . six is a good trip for her but she might get seven as she is settling a lot better now.
Exogenesis is out of this world!
he (Exogenesis) always hits a lazy spot in his races and he had that entering the straight. When Gary got after him the response was immediate though and he probably was in front sooner than he wanted. I said in Fairyhouse (after his maiden win) I loved the way he hit the (winning) post and that he's a Stakes race and if he stays with us he'll go for a Stakes race next. I still think he'll be a better three year old as the penny hasn't dropped yet and he's as green as grass. He's a big idle horse and hopefully will keep improving. he's well named . out of this world!
Perhaps the latest Ballydoyle 'adverb winner'
she was still green enough in front but I'm delighted with her. She needs to come on but I think she will as she's still only a baby.
Ana O'Brien rides her third winner
the second horse (Little Arrows) was closing him down and he might have got up in another few strides but I'm delighted he won and will go for another handicap next.
Teorim wins on 13th attempt
Bolgers/Teofilo double up in Dublin
she was a little bit keen before she got to the front (before halfway) today. Hopefully we'll go for another handicap now and she's a fairly good looking filly.
Writers Block wins Leopardstown farce
that definitely wasn't expected and I blame all the other jockeys!. who's going to give a three miler two furlongs of a 'start'. They got what they deserved and while they were catching him hand-over-fist, shur he was well gone by then. I said beforehand if they went a stupid pace at the start to 'go on' because he'll stay three miles.
