Condon/Meade take opener at Punchestown
He's the one I thought would win in Down Royal at the weekend but Luke said he never travelled. Maybe it was the ground that beat him. He travelled and jumped great today and he stays really well. It was a bit risky running him so soon but everything worked out well today.
Townend wins aboard The Dew At Night
He deserved that after Thurles. He jumps great, he's just a bit of a monkey at times. Hqe'll mix it over hurdles and fences with him. He can do anything he has the ability he just doesn't always show it.
Footy Facts impresses at Punchestown
That worked well. We thought Hardy Eustace was going to make it and we were going to take him on about three out but we a grand lead in the end. He picked really well and Philip said that's the best he's felt in a long time. Himself and Spring The Que have really come into their own recently. This was just a stepping stone our aim is for the Thyestes Chase in Gowran Park at the end of January.
Townend completes Punchestown double
We were happy with that. I suppose he just out-stayed them there. We'll have a look at the Thyestes Chase in Gowran Park now, i'll see if we can find something else but i'd say we'll go for the Thyestes.
Keane records first winner
Byrnes in double form at Punchestown
He'll go for a winner's of one somewhere next. We'll have to have a look.
