Seven steps-up on outing number two
He is a nice type of four-year-old and learned from his run in Listowel. His jumping was a bit sketchy early on the last day but he was better today. He has had two quick runs so we'll probably freshen him up for a month and then look for something.
Barna is Gold for his Sligo backers
He likes a bit of a trip, anything up to three miles. He may go chasing now.
Barry & Vinnie all the way at Sligo
Well-travelled Symphony comes good under Ruby
He's been a bit disappointing but really it was the man on his back who made the difference between winning and losing today. He has always had the ability but he has his own ideas about it. He'd be better suited by good ground and a longer trip.
Geraghty brings home another gamble on Rubi
Barry said the mistake woke him up and that he'll come on a tonne for it. Bar the mistake he jumped brilliant. We are a bit restricted where we go because he won over fences in France . so a novice is out.
Geraghty strikes for the 3rd time at Sligo
He is tough but I was just a bit worried that the ground wasn't soft enough for him. The plan is to go for a two mile six handicap at Galway, Operation Houdini won it for me for a couple of years. Hopefully he'll sneak into that with a nice weight.
Knocknagow Leader another for Sligo punters
The conditions were really made for him (a beginners chase for horses that hadn't won a hurdle). He made just the one mistake but it was a bad enough one (the sixth fence). He'll go for a little handicap somewhere next.
