Reflective Hourigan ends Limerick drought
it’s nice to get a winner - I used to be leading trainer here when I could train five or six (winners) in the week but now there are younger fellows, like Willie Mullins, taking over and training 20 in the week.

Limerick gamble landed by The Ballyboys
we were hoping he’d run a big race and were hoping the blinkers would do the job on him. It has taken us a while to get him right and a huge thanks to Jim Bergin, an osteopath, who has done a huge job on him. He has turned him inside out. He is a fine big strong horse and finds it easier on that heavy ground than other horses - we’ll see what the handicapper does now. Adam has had ten rides for me but that’s his first winner and he is a very obliging fellow and I’m delighted to give him a winner.
Road completes 27/1 double for Hourigan
The secret to him is making the running but it was by a mistake that we did it. I always thought he was a good horse but he disappointed. It's a bad day you don't learn something and we only learned how to ride him last Friday; we worked him and made the running and he finished happy!. He'll go for a Thurles novice chase next and that's Cian's (Collins) first ride for me.
