Hourigans good run continues
He'll probably make a Summer horse. He had some very nice runs during the Winter. I thought he'd win a bumper but he got hurt in Thurles one day, John Thomas [McNamara] said he went from travelling well to just stopping but he has repaid us today. He might run in a flat race in Clonmel next week, he didn't get a very hard race this evening.
Castle Anshan scores for O'Brien
It's been awhile since i've last had a winner at the track. We discovered that this lad had back troubles and have been treating him. Since his treatment he's just turned inside out. He ran well at Cork the last day he just might not have been ready. We'll try and pick up another one for him now.
Darcy wins aboard Pallasmore
He was unlucky last year when he fell at Ffos. I think he has improved a bit this year. If he keeps improving we'll try and aim him for the Summer National at Kilbeggan.
Stack on the mark at Tipp
It was a big help that the second favourite fell early. He was a bit green at the second last but his jumping was good for most of it. He loves the fast ground, he finds it hard to get out of the heavy ground. We will keep him going throughout the Summer now.
Hampstead Heath opens his account over fences
That was my first winner over fences. This lad won first time out over hurdles. He jumps well and has always had ability, he has been a bit disappointing on the flat but this is the first time he's got his ground. I don't know where we'll go next but he'll mix it up over the Summer.
Burns seen to good effect
She did it well, when she won at the Pigeons she won like that, she didn't come under any pressure. I don't know what we'll do next, the Summer is coming so we might wait until the soft ground comes again.
Mossey Joe impresses at Tipp
We've no plans for him yet. We might just leave him out on grass and comeback for a chase. He's been on the go awhile now, so we'll see what the owners say. He won't run on hard ground anyways.
Queally father and son take last
He'll probably go over hurdles now, he's been fierce consistent. He's had a lot of joint problems in the past, so we'll see how he comes out of the race. He gets three miles it's no bother to him.
