Rosshaven opens jumping account at Clonmel
She had been running well but it took her a couple of runs to get her jumping properly. She hadn't been jumping well initially but was better today apart from a little mistake. She doesn't want the ground bottomless and is entitled to a little break now. She has an engine, is a big mare who I'd imagine will jump a fence in time. She could have more respect for fences in time.
Mick Jazz hits right note for Elliott
He's a grand horse and did it well. Barry said he was a bit rusty and a bit keen at times but he had good form as a juvenile so should win plenty of races and we'll have a bit of fun with him. He had been working well since we got him and hadn't given any trouble. He'll go for a handicap hurdle at Down Royal next week.
Elliott brings century up with Orchard Road
He's grand and only cost GBP2,000 (last May). He has been placed every run now and has his job done now so everyone's happy. He jumps a fence and might win off his own mark again but he is what he is.
Blackthorn Prince completes 3-mile hat-trick
It's great to win three in a row with any horse and there's another one of these here again at the next meeting. It's 0-140 and over three miles and he likes the course. He's a good battler and the ground is a big help to him so we'll leave going chasing until after Christmas.
Sweet win as Tata misses out
We had a bit of luck that the favourite came out but she jumped like a buck and that's her game. Sean (his son) wants to have a winner at Down Royal, so she'll run there in a hurdle race next week.
Tisamystery another for inform de Bromhead
Brian gave him a super ride and he saw it out well which was good as it opens up some more options for him. He was 2lbs wrong at the weights but it was a suitable race and I felt he didn't stay the last day. He has earned a break at this stage and he is a good ground horse.
Cloudy Morning comes good early evening
He's in at Wexford on Monday. He's a tough little horse and will run if he's ok. I have him three months and am taking more of a role with the training of my father's horses now, having had five point-to-point winners last season.
