Mullins wins opener at Thurles
He's still learning, Robert [Power] said he hated the ground. He jumped well and is improving all of the time. He's well bred and appears to have taken to hurdling. We'll probably go to Leopardstown for the Denny's Juvenile Hurdle at Christmas.
Shakervilz Impresses at Thurles
I'm delighted with that, we'll go for another similar type hurdle with him next. He will stay hurdling for the season as he seems to be good at it. There's a hurdle in Navan in 3 weeks time that we might go for.
Madden seen to good effect
He's a full brother to Aran Concerto. The horse will be so much better on better ground if he ever gets it and if he stops growing, he seems to grow an inch every year, he is about 17 hands. We'll go for a winners of one with him next at Christmas.
O'Connor off the mark
I'm delighted for Matt [O'Connor] he's waited long enough for his winner. The horse wasn't winning out of turn. We have no real plans for him, we'll enter him in a handicap and see what kind of a mark he gets and may go for a winners of one. He's a better horse on better ground.
Redmond scores with Florida Express
We were expecting a good run today but didn't think he'd win. He's improved plenty and loves the heavy ground and would stay forever. I have my training licence out a year and that's my second winner on the track.
