Marajman lands the odds on Irish debut
Being a relation of Golden Silver it is no surprise he handled that ground and he is a horse who will improve. It is very very testing conditions but he jumped very well and jumping won it for him in the end I'd say. He is a staying type and it is nice to get him going.
Epson Du Houx strikes for de Bromhead/Blackmore
Codd picks up winning spare on Shopping Around
She can go up in trip and over a fence - we'd slow down Frankel if we got a hold of him so she'll be going further and jumping bigger. She is a lovely mare for lovely people. I hope Jamie never retires, he was brilliant on her and rode her twice in her point to points and won on his second ride on her. He was in our place on Monday morning and said he never felt worse in his life. He said his weight is great at the moment but rang me yesterday to say he was struggling.
More Music pleases Tracey and Treacy
I bought him as a three-year-old in Tattersalls and he was a bit slow to come to hand. Myself and Sean help each other out and I also have a Mahler five-year-old who might run on Sunday and another for the Sales. Tracey takes all the credit, she owns him and has the place leased off me and does all the work with him. It is great he has won for her, and both of us, as a lot of work went into him. He is a grand lump of a horse and can only improve over a fence.
Mullins doubles up with The West Awaits in bumper
She idled when she got to the front on very heavy, cut up ground and we'll probably go for a winners' bumper with her. The ground is very gluey and is so cut up after the other hurdles races being run on it. I'd like to find a winners' bumper down the country, that would suit me, and go jumping then. I think she is improving and I hope she is good enough to win a winners' bumper.
Tokoyo Getaway impresses in rated novice chase
She jumps and stays and had a grand weight on her back today. That is her second chase and she is now eligible for handicaps. The day she finished second in Tramore, she never travelled a yard and we were putting it down to the rotten ground but she was as sweet as a nut on that today and got through it lovely.
Deilginis continues to progress over fences
She won well in Cork the last day and this race was an obvious race after that against her own sex. We'll keep her against mares again, she loves soft ground and seems to stay well. She is an outstanding jumper and her jumping is fantastic. She is more a chaser and we'll kick on over fences but she could also go back hurdling at some stage in the future.
