Big Jim Dwyer well punted and wins on first start for Mullins
Shesadream upsets Walk On The Moone
The Big Chap another for Flynn
He is a grand horse and I got him from Peter Maher who is a lovely man and a great horseman who looks after his horses the best. I bought this horse's half-brother for €3,000 during the week so we must have had an idea this lad was going to win!. He has always run good races but was very nervy and Barry said he was very keen there. He always finished well and never ran a bad race but it was lesser company today. I thought he'd be rated 85 instead of 95 but can't say anything bad now and being left in this 0-95 was a big help. He'll be a much better chaser, is a serious leaper and there should be plenty more to come. The horses are running well, we have a few nice ones to look forward to and hopefully we'll get a few to Galway, including possibly this lad.
Shean Glory grabs breakthrough success
She deserved that as she had been there or thereabouts in the past. In fairness to Phillip, he said I left her short (fitness-wise) the last day and said she'd improve a lot. He said he'd fancy her the next day so he was fairly accurate. We'll tip away on safe ground and you'd hope she'll win another one.
Plan comes to fruition with Rocco Bay
She’s very consistent and when she came back in this season, this was her plan because she was qualified for all the bonuses. She picks up 27 grand (including a €10,000 sales voucher and a €5,000 fillies’ bonus) for winning today which is unbelievable and it’s a huge initiative. The series is a great initiative for fillies and with the clients we have, we don’t have the huge money to go and pay the big money for stores. She was only a €20,000 store and to come out there today and win €27,000 is great. With her pedigree, she’s a half-sister to Tully East, and nearly everything out of the dam has won, I was keen to try win a bumper, so we slotted in Bangor and hoped we’d get her back here for this, and it worked out great. She’ll tip away during the summer and hopefully she’ll nick a bit of black type somewhere along the way.
Rebellious Gale sweeps home for Carberry
High City Roller shows his wheels in Limerick
He never handled the ground at all in Clonmel so we put him away and that pedigree is all good ground. He is light framed, is ground-dependent and I think he'll improve over a trip. I'd imagine he'll go hurdling now.
