Rambler provides 20/1 shock in beginners
He'd a nice first run in a point to point but he's a horse which needed time and being so big, he was never going to do a lot as a four or five year old. His owners Michael and Julia Foran also bred him and have been patient with him. He might go for a handicap chase next but won't run on winter ground as he needs it good.
Lynch doubles up on impressive Vagabond
He did what it said on the tin, for a change. He came on from his run at Ballinrobe and it was nice to know he has now handled both sorts of ground. Once he drops the bridle it is a help and Andrew said it was a stop-start race but his biggest problem in the end was pulling him up. I've no plan for him but he jumps and travels well in his races. He is owned by a syndicate from Galway (Weir House Syndicate).
Broderick & Walsh team up with Luimneach
I freshened him up after his run the last day and Frank (Berry, J.P. McManus' racing manager) said this was a good chance for him. The track and coming up and down hills suited and he loves that ground. Mark gave him a great ride and jumped the last three well. He's not a horse for winter ground and it's great to get this as he's finished second eight times and had only won once before today.
Notable hat-trick for He'llberemembered
What do you say about him? All the papers indicated that he'd finish third but we never taught him to read thank god!. He has the same attitude riding him out at home in the morning and it hasn't changed for four or five years. Whenever he tells us otherwise we'll retire him but for the moment we're gearing towards a flat handicap at Dundalk next. He could sneak into those veterans' chases and he's so relaxed that he could also travel (to Britain). I'd a bit of heart trouble earlier in the year but if he ever wants to give his up, I'd take it!

No drama as Dani strolls home
I bought her as a foal and her mother was smart too. She was a bit green at Clonmel and wants nice ground. She's a good filly and I think a lot of her and, despite being small, she should be a contender for those mares novice hurdles. I'm not going to tear the heart out of her in bottomless ground.
