Easy for The Last Mardi in Killarney maiden hurdle
1-2 for Cian Collins in Killarney Day Four feature
That was fantastic. It was just the way the race panned out and the ride Rachael gave her won the race. They went an awful gallop in front and they all died off, and Rachael came through. It’s the way Effernock Fizz wins races but it just worked out in Presenting Doyen’s favour today. The owners are from Kerry, so it’s brilliant for them.
Tory Reel scores at 16/1 for McCarthy & Noonan
They went plenty quick up front and I told Gary to take his time as there were three confirmed front-runners. It was his first run in a handicap (hurdle) and he jumped a little sketchy at times. I wanted him to be given a chance to find his feet and he showed how tough and gutsy he is in the last half-furlong. He’s only four and will be a lovely horse in time. Maybe we’ll look at Galway but Listowel would be the main thing on my mind. A lot of the Syndicate are from Limerick and there is a good crowd of them here this evening. They are real racing enthusiasts and love going racing.

Solitary Man opens account with promise of more to come over fences
That was kind of the plan to come here after his nice run in Ballinrobe and he got a great ride by Darragh. I’m not sure what we will find for him now but I’m really looking forward to him going over fences next year. He’s a gorgeous looking horse and well judged by Paul Shanahan.
Easy Peasy for Kelly newcomer in Killarney
We were very hopeful coming here but you never know until you run. She’s a very smart filly and I’m very thankful to the Hanbury family. They have been good clients of mine and bred this filly as well. Adam said the plan was to hold on a bit longer but the race fell apart in front.
