Katchy Lady scores in three horse thriller
I didn't want to run her as I was terrified about the ground. She hates that ground and she is still a wee bit weak. We had to run though for the 10,000 bonus (Racing Post Yearling Bonus scheme). She'll have a rest now for the time-being. I think it was a very good maiden at Cork when she finished fourth. Today just became a slog from two furlongs down.

I'm delighted to get a winner for the owners, Pat and Betty Cosgrave. They bred the filly too and Pat is a member of the St Kevins GAA club in Staplestown and he is a great Kildare supporter . his son-in-law is a selector. The filly is tough and I'm some trainer to have been running her in Dundalk given that she's gone and won there on that ground!
