Very happy with that. She's a lovely filly, and has shown us plenty at home, but she's a seven furlong/miler,. Colin said there that she's a miler. She was very green but she was only down the road and races aren't filling. She has a little bit of class and we had to run her here to educate her, she would have been working yesterday. She's done what we thought she could do. There will be no rush with her and we'll step her up to seven at a minimum.

He's a horse that only does so much at home. He's very green,. In his work he only just gets there so we knew he had the class. Gary said he handled the ground perfectly but said he was only getting going at the line. Seven furlongs is probably his trip. He only gives you so much which is the sign of a good horse. I think he'll improve buckets from that as it was his first day away from home and first day to see grass. We've only got tough with him not that long ago so there is plenty to improve on. We'll see how much he improves and then decide whether to looks at stakes races. The other horse just got a little bit squeezed out, through no fault of the two boys in front, and he would have been very green too. We always knew he wanted seven but the race was cutting up and we were only down the road. He's a classy horse but a very immature horse. He'll improve buckets for it too.

I fancied him tonight because the ground was to his liking, as along as the rain didn't get into it too much,. He's a horse of a lifetime really, he's won a lot of races. That's his 15th win now. He's in again at Navan next Tuesday so he can run in that now. He takes nothing to get fit and he's the soundest horse I've ever had, touch wood. He's a dream. His owner is our next door neighbour and he's a great owner. He's not even in that long. We gave him a bit of a break after the all-weather, he was a bit sick of it. The grass lit him up a bit and got him going again. He's in great nick.

It was good to get her to win on grass for Johnny Connaughton,. He's looking on from home and she's a home-bred filly. His other horse Yenillik ran a cracker last night to be second. That's her second win. Billy said she loved that little bit of ease in the ground. We'll keep rolling along in handicaps and she's thriving on racing.
