The ground was perfect for him today, we didn't run him the last day as the ground was too fast and we don't want to break him down again. He was probably a bit deliberate at his hurdles today but everything going well we'll head to Galway and go for the good novice chase.

He ran well here the last day when he finished 2nd so we were just hoping he'd go one better and he duly obliged. We have no set plans really it's hard enough to find 3 mile hurdle races but we'll keep him over hurdles for the time being and in time we will go chasing with him.
Rio Alto impressive at Tipperary
That was a surprise my horses just haven't been running well lately. The last day she ran they went no gallop and she never settled but she settled well today and jumped well. Paddy said the ground was ideal and that she wouldn't want it any faster that she wants good ground with a bit of juice in it. We will probably go for something similar next.
Tribes and Banner wins for Swan
David has some hands that horse is so free he gave him a great ride, he jumped great and he won well. He is a relation of Cloone River's. He loves fast ground and David rode him on the outside to get the best of the ground. He loves fast ground and we'll keep him on the go for the summer.
Hogan seen to good effect
This lad kept coming back to me injured, we just couldn't get him right and this was his last chance. He was a bit unlucky the last day he ran when he turned over. Denis gave him a great ride, he has plenty of experience and we'll probably go for another handicap.
Our Musician takes last at Tipperary
He did that well, he won his Point to Point in Bell Harbour. He's very versatile ground wise and we will put him away now and then go hurdling with him.
