Kyle does it in Style
You would expect him to do that after his Leopardstown run. We may target him at a Listed hurdle in Naas just before Cheltenham. He's from a really good family and has a good method of jumping. We haven't bullied him at home and we are giving him time to mature and find his feet.
Colah grabs victory from the jaws of defeat
Babe edges it in a thriller
She is not qualified for the next mares' chase her in a few weeks time but there is a Graded mares chase at Limerick over St Patrick's weekend for her. She got in a bit tight to the fourth last but I thought she'd sail past at the next. Philip said she drifted out a bit to her left on the run-in. She is a fine big strong mare and has lots of class, and travels very well in her races.
Jack on top as Instalment also pleases
He jumps like a buck for Paul and it's great to have him back on this horse. I think that is probably around his trip and I'm not sure if he gets any further. He's probably a horse to stay at home rather than Cheltenham. I was annoyed that I didn't put him in the John Durkan, and he just wasn't right around Christmas time. We freshened him up and came here.
Unbeaten Clondaw holds Court
He jumped like a chaser rather than a hurdler. I'd imagine we'll be looking at a trip, 2m6f or three miles. We thought he was our Cheltenham bumper horse last year but he didn't make the Festival. We always thought an awful lot of him, and at least he gave an indication today that he's back to himself. Hopefully we get him to Cheltenham this year and back to Punchestown.
Sherika takes same route to success
She won here last year having pulled up at Limerick and she's done the same again this year as she pulled up at Cork last time - so lightening has struck twice. All the credit goes to Davy Russell as she wasn't right the last day and Davy minded her. Today was a nice confidence booster and we'll go for something similar with her next. She also has a nice chase mark.
Boy completes double for McParlan
He didn't run a great race the last day in Down Royal. He was running against class horses and wasn't able to dictate and he got disappointed. He's a great fun horse and we might go back to the round bales (point-to-point) with him. I've no intention of going to Cheltenham with him but he may go for the Joseph O'Reilly at Fairyhouse as he was second in it last year.
