Vic gets hurdling career off to a winning start
We thought there would be a lot more pace. Paul said they crawled and he just let him get to the front and he jumped well when he got there. He had the experience of running in a point-to-point, and he galloped on up the hill. Looking at the way he won today he should stay further than two and a half miles.
Beckey does the business for Nagle/Crimin
She's only a pony but is game and has been incredibly well all the time. I thought she was a certainty if she handled the ground and it was a lot weaker race than the one at Limerick. Shane (Crimin) said he always thought she was going to win.

Fever impressive on return at Clonmel
I was delighted with what he did considering how hard he pulled for the first half of the race. I didn't think he could pull like that and beat a field of horses like that. Last week he wasn't coming here but we stuck him in and his last piece of work he sparked so we said we'd run him as he was getting the weight allowance. We are looking at the Durkan but I'd say Boston Bob is probably going to run there. Maybe he's better running a little fresher, so perhaps no run between now and the King George would be better for him.
Jennies a real Jewel in T A Morris
That was a very good performance and she has more than earned her Graded win. She had a lovely run here first time over fences recently and we did plenty of schooling with her since. Ian gave her a brilliant ride. Originally we were only toying with the idea of briefly going chasing with her as she is a valuable mare but we'll have to rethink that now and could run in those Mares' Chases. There is also the possibility she could go back for the Tara Handicap Hurdle (at Navan) next month too.

Kennady relishes mud for shock bumper win
I thought he was a certainty! Honestly though we thought an awful lot of him before he ran (on debut) at Killarney but I've never been as disappointed with a horse as he made a total fool out of us. He works like a very, very good horse but his runs have been horrendous. Maybe he travels much easier on that heavy ground though.
