Keane keeps it simple on Transcending
That was her four star race for me when I was looking at entries about five weeks ago. We made the fatal mistake of entering her last Thursday and when I'm happy with them I run them,. You are always prone to walk into a superstar in an open maiden and I think we walked into at least two. I thought she'd win a race like this. The other side of it is if we didn't run last week we'd be walking away from here thinking you are a great lad but at least we know where our level is. She's a nice honest filly, to a level. We'll bring her home now, she has her maiden ticked. She's a nice filly and sold herself to us in the sales ring. She wasn't on our list but kept catching our eye. She has a gorgeous head and is a great walker. We'll let her mature now and see where it brings her. I wouldn't be surprised if her next run is over six.
Impressive Jancis shows electric turn of foot on debut
They went very hard up front. Billy said she jumped smart but he just wanted to settle her in,. She was a bit free and leery, the road is about 100 yards after the stalls, so he just wanted to get her into a nice rhythm. She's a bit nervous and the whole thing about today was to get her started. The owner has been very patient with her and we wanted to get her started, give her a good day out and see where we go from there. It's a beautiful track and it's riding lovely, there is a lovely long straight. She turned in and Billy said he gave her a chance and she just lengthened the whole way to the line and she loved it. How good the race was, I don't know. She's been doing that at home but she's just a little bit leery, she's nervous and hasn't got confidence in herself. That will do her the world of good, she only got one flick there. Nancy Sexton sent her to me. Those colours are 100 years old in Chile and it's the first time they've been seen here in Ireland so it's a great pleasure to train a winner first time out for Arturo. Hopefully it's onwards and upwards with her.

Divine intervention as Giuseppe gains first turf win
He looked great and the sun brought out the lovely black colour in him, he had a lovely shine,' . They went hard, I think they were doing 11 seconds a furlong early on, and Keithen just sat and came through them nicely, he won snugly enough I suppose. The rain was very welcome, it made the seven furlongs achievable and maybe slowed it up a small bit. I'd say a mile is his optimum trip. I'm delighted to win here in Leopardstown tonight as my father Pa is dead 22 years today. I asked him for a little favour when I was saddling him up and thankfully he came through. He got us all involved in the horses and it's a pleasure to still be moving on with it. We were very busy with the business but now we've put a good management structure in and my brother Pat and I can step back a bit and enjoy it more.
Boadicea Belle shows no ill effects less than 24-hours on
She didn't get much of a look last night, she wasn't out very quick and a few came in on top of her,. She didn't really get much of a run and she was declared again today, she was fine this morning so we said why not. That's her first win on the grass, she had three wins on the all-weather in England and won at Dundalk back in April. I thought she ran a great race in the Curragh where she was drawn very wide. She was there at the furlong pole and I'd say she just didn't see out the mile at the Curragh. She finished eighth but was only beaten about two-and-a-half lengths. I thought she'd run a big race last night but it just didn't happen. Declan was good and strong on her there and I'm delighted. She's been in good form since she came back this season.
