Ennemi Public is punters friend in Tramore opener
Landmark winner for Carey & Carberry with Brosna Rocco
Peterjon gave her a great ride. He’s top class and we are very lucky to have him. He comes in and schools for us and we are friends for a long time. It’s great for him to get a winner as he’s back after an injury. Hopefully that gets him going as he’s very light and a great rider. This mare is a bit hot and has taken a lot of minding at home but she jumps well and that ground suited her. She just gallops away and she might improve with a bit more experience. She’s owned by Tony Kilduff, who is an uncle of my wife Mary. Her father Noel Kilduff breeds them all and minds them when they are babies. He does a great job. We rent some of Arthur Moore’s yard and breaking and pre-training is our main job. We have great clients and it’s going well.

Moyode Gold relishes testing conditions for Nash/Brouder
She is tough, stays well and wants that ground. She was a bit disappointing after winning her maiden hurdle, she had some jumping issues. She got a great ride there and hopefully is back on track now.
First reserve Moscowsowhat takes beginners chase
That was great, back here in the happy hunting ground. I thought Conor gave him a super ride, it was a very intelligent ride. The plan was to sit mid-division but he ended-up right up there. I told him to do his own thing, so he was happy with where the horse was. I'm over the moon for the racing club, as it's their first winner. They've had to wait a bit longer than I thought they would. I thought this lad would do a job for them over hurdles last season. He is just a different horse over fences. He is brilliant to jump and if you go back to his first run in a point-to-point he was second to Walk Away. That form had to come through. We'll see how he comes out of this and he might go somewhere at Christmas time. The handicapper will decide where we go. I wouldn't be rushing back here with him. A bigger track and bigger fences will suit him. This beginners chase was tailor-made for him.
Presenting Point makes most to get off the mark
I'm delighted to get that. He had a good run the last day and the step-up in trip today probably helped him. Phillip gave him a nice positive ride from the front and it happened nicely for him. Phillip kind of made up his own mind down at the start. No one wanted to go on, so he went on. I'd say he would have been happier with a lead. There is a race at Thurles before Christmas that he could go for, it's over three miles. He could go to Limerick over Christmas either or come back here maybe on New Year's Day.
