Across card double for de Bromhead
Four in-a-row for Road To Riches
Paul said he was a bit free early on and when he dropped him back he became almost too relaxed. It was a bit uncharacteristic to see him making a mistake. He got lit up beforehand when he was battling him. He did what we came here to do. He's a a chaser in the making for next season and now we know he stays three miles. The Dorans Pride Hurdle at Limerick might be a possibility. There's a race in Naas in January as well.
What a Day for hat-trick hero De Bromhead!
Fortune favours Great Oak
That's my first blacktype. They are there to be jumped. I would have been happy with third, but Christmas came early. Her form was good all along and she was unlucky in Clonmel not to get blacktype as she took on Tarla that day. I didn't enter her over Christmas as there aren't a lot of races for her. Today was the plan.
Enright completes Cork double
Carlowsantana was in great form two years agio when he won twice for me but has gone up the handicap in the meantime. However we worked very well him at Dundalk recently and he was absolutely flying coming here today. We'll see what the handicapper does with him now but he'll probably go to Down Royal for another handicap over Christmas. Ian McCarthy normally rides for us and does a lot of the schooling on him . he had to be at Punchestown today though. Mark (Enright) gave him a great ride and I've no doubt he'll go to the top.
Tipped Up Harry a double for Foster
We had a winner today in Tattersalls point-to-point and this is fantastic . two winners from two runners. The step up in trip really helped him and he got a great ride from Adrian. He won on that horse before.
