Quinola bolts up on hurdles bow
He jumped well enough and it is great to see Emmet getting a winner on him. He is great value for his claim. I think he'll stay further than that (two miles) and he obviously handles this ground very well. He is a chaser for next year. I was afraid coming here today with him and Morning Supreme after the way Cadspeed ran in Down Royal yesterday. Cadspeed is fine this morning and maybe it's just like it was in his bumper days in that he just takes a run or two to get to his peak.

E
MacMahon excels on Island
She will go jumping fences at some stage now that she has won a hurdle. She'd never have got into a chase due to the balloting without this win under her belt.
Mullins doubles up with Supreme
She jumped much better than I thought she would and she did it nicely. We'll find a novice hurdle for her now.
Paddy Pub takes the Binman
We still have to find out what he is (how good he is). Hopefully he is a good one. He'll go for the Troytown next and the better gallop and the left-handed track will suit him. The bigger the fences the better and he loves a trip. He'll go on good ground too.

Gortnagros lands Limerick finale
I'm delighted for the owner, John Joyce, a retired chemist from Mallow, as this is his third attempt to get a winner. This is his first ever winner with his third horse. She has improved from Clonmel, where she'd have won if there had been a proper gallop. She liked the ground and she might go for a winners race though jumping will be her game. She fell one day in Lismore in a point-to-point when she was going well and she'll make a chaser.
