Ginto lands the odds in Navan
Jack said it was like a piece of work for him, he wasn't doing a stroke going around there on his own. It's job done. He's gotten very strong, he's a big bull, and he needs to get out, get a bit of work, and get going. He's probably going to be more of a staying horse. It's grand to start the day off well.

Easca Peasca delights Hamilton in Navan
He stayed at it well and he jumped really well. I was a bit concerned that he might be a bit novicey on his first run in a handicap but Shane got him into a lovely rhythm and he jumped beautifully for him the whole way. We'll have to sit down, take a look, and see where we go now. He might step up and try and get a little bit of black-type with him at some stage. He's tough out and a lovely horse to work with. John Oxx sold him to us and what he said about him was 100 per cent right. He told us he was a lovely little horse with great character, and that's exactly what he is, he's a wee superstar of a horse. Winning the last day helped him and he's a great horse for a small trainer like me to have as he never runs a bad race. The syndicate are a good bunch of lads, including the chairman of Downpatrick racecourse, and they are local to me in Downpatrick.
Farrawaybay rewards Molloy's faith in her
She's a very genuine mare and I'm delighted because her owners Mark and Jane Fleming are over today. Her brother sells in a couple of hours at Fairyhouse. Her other brother (Galop Marin) won the Grade One in France yesterday, he won that race for the fourth time. It's a good family. I always thought going left-handed and a stiffer track would be ideal. We've taken our chances on tighter tracks, wherever the opportunities have come, but I was looking forward to coming to a track like this. She's a handicapper so we'll keep looking for suitable opportunities. She probably deserves a little bit of a break now as she's been on the go for a while. We'll probably look for something towards the end of the season or early next season. She was the reason I took out my licence.
He could be one for your Notebook this season
I'm delighted with that, he was really good and jumped great. He was brilliant. It was an ideal race for him, he loves jumping and is such a class jumper, that's his forte. I thought we were struggling between the third last and second last but he winged the second last and was away again.
Buddy Rich brings up Elliott's brace
He's been a great horse, he runs well everyday, and it's great for John (Keegan) as it's the first horse he's had with us. He's local and he's a good fella,. He doesn't want real soft ground so as soon as the ground goes we'll leave him off. It's obviously bitter sweet with the other horse (Wide Receiver fatally injured), who was running a good race too.
Elliott fires in treble through Gringo D'aubrelle
He's a nice horse. I fancied him in a bumper at Thurles and he came home lame and then he blew up the last day when he was beaten by a good horse of Charles Byrnes'.
