Pittoni advertises Triumph claims
I'm happy with that. He quickened up well between the last two,. A faster pace would suit him as he stays well. The Triumph is the target but he wouldn't want the ground too good.
O'Donoghue shines on Blazing
We have no plans but she'll stick to novice company for the rest of the year,. The ground is not too bad but she loves better ground. Keith is a good claimer and well able to ride.
Dunguib shows class in Deloitte
A t least he got the job done but his jumping wasn't as good as it has been,. He was careless at a lot of them and the last hurdle was his best. He travels with enormous ease but even had me a little worried down the back. Even two out he was a bit sloppy but he just seems to cruise. Whether it's good ground or testing he just seems to deal with it. We've done plenty of schooling with him and on the whole I'm happy with his jumping. But he was very careless today. Today was about getting him relaxed and not tanking. The aim was to get him settled but maybe he was too relaxed and lackadaisical. I'm happy he got an easy race, as he's not an over robust horse, and the last thing we wanted was a tough race. He'll have an easy two weeks now. We schooled him during the week over nine hurdles and he was excellent. It wouldn't do at Cheltenham if he jumped like that and he'll have to improve.
Vic sees them off in Moriarty
That's fantastic. He's improved and Ruby said after Punchestown to step him up in trip,. Unfortunately he was on the other horse. Vinny just didn't jump - he was too careful. Paul gave the winner a great ride from the front, he settled well. He's in the RSA Chase but my first thought would be the Power Gold Cup at Fairyhouse. He looks tailor made for that but we'll also have a think about the English race. Paul said he jumped great and had plenty in the locker the whole way. He didn't do anything wrong and just jumped and galloped.
Moville storms home
He didn't get the run of the race in the MCR Hurdle here last time and came out of it quite fresh so I decided to let him take his chance again,. With 30 runners you need luck in running. He didn't seem to take much out of himself. We'll see what's coming up in the next couple of months. He's had three quick runs.
Joncol battles to Hennessy glory
It's great. I was a little bit worried that we wouldn't be able to get him to peak for three Grade Ones,. He's a big framed horse but we didn't do much work with him because we wanted to freshen him up. I was just worried he might blow up but thankfully he's done the business, just barely, but done it. We have options with him now. We could decide to give him a break and bring him back for Punchestown if the ground stays safe. We'll see how he comes out of this but Cheltenham is an option. I'd say the Ryanair is 50/50. I said at the start of the season the Hennessy was his Gold Cup and he's done it now so we're happy.
Kilty Storms home in hunters
I'll let the owners decide if they want to go across the water for Cheltenham,.
Frawley takes bumper in style
I've always liked him. His races have been good all the way bar one poor run,. That was maybe the ground - he would probably like it a bit better as he has a nice action.
