Miro sheds maiden tag in D'patrick's opener
Jack gave him a lovely ride and he's improving the whole time and it worked out grand. He'll win again, the horse, and he’s a grand type. He loved the ground and that ground is lovely.
Kerry National a possible for D'Patrick winner
Jack gave him a good ride - the trip was very short for him but he stayed galloping the whole way.
Keane/Flanagan combine for 2nd win in 4 days
she was running a bit in snatches - it’s not that she is ungenuine but I thought the blinkers might do her a bit of good. Mark (Flanagan) said the blinkers have done a right job on her, there was more concentration and she's a different mare altogether. She loves that nice ground but she wouldn't want it firm. She ran a good race here the last day in a maiden and was well handicapped. She is improving all the time and last year she was very backward - she'll win more.
Teacher's Pet gets it right in Downpatrick
She deserved that, she has been running consistently well. She's bred to get that sort of trip. I'd say we will look at fences, we'll talk to Frank (Berry). She wants that ground.
he kept it simple there and he jumps well and stays going. It was an ordinary race and the favourite (joint favourite Night Generation) didn't operate. He (Sam King) ran too keen in Limerick and the ground was soft and it was also a good competitive handicap. He'll go for Tramore next week.
Moore/O'Loughlin alliance strikes again
She was 3lbs well in so that's why I ran her. On her new handicap she has 3lbs more. It was crazy not to take advantage of that. The first winner I trained for Pat O'Loughlin was about 42 years ago! We had a couple of fillies for him. He was delighted to send this filly to us. He's always been a good pal all the way through. This mare will go chasing in due course. We'll probably give her another run or two over hurdles so maybe Listowel beckons. It was a very good ride from Donagh. I knew she would battle, she's very genuine.
Outsider wins D'patrick's bumper finale
I'm a bit speechless to be honest with you! She was very green her first run or two and I thought she would run a good race the last day when she was brought down. She has been improving with every run and has improved at home big time. I did expect her to run well now but I didn't expect her to do that.
