Elliott & Kennedy win Leopardstown's opener
he had a nice run the first day and we thought he'd come on a nice bit from it.
Whiskey Sour ends long wait for win
Machine makes winning start over timber
That was great, I'm delighted. I shouldn't have run her on the ground last time, her best form was on nicer ground,. She might have been a bit unlucky not to win a bumper. She jumped for fun and she wants two-and-a-half miles or even further. What can I say about Jamie, he's a class act. I'll talk to the owners now and we'll see where we go. It's great for them because they've put a good bit of time into her. She's a nice mare to look forward to.
Dublin double for excited Elliott
Jack gave her a great ride and is riding out of his skin, which is great heading into Cheltenham. The horses are running well, the jockeys are riding out of their skins, including Davy Russell and Jordan (Gainford). They are all riding great so roll on next week!. it's good for the owners Caren, Aidan and the rest of the syndicate, they are good supporters of the yard. I was actually worried about the ground, I thought it would be too good for her, but she battled well and stayed.
Fit strikes again for Dempseys
We're delighted with that. He jumped well, he nodded at one or two but in general he was good,. I was a little bit afraid the ground was going to dry out but he seemed to handle it well enough. He got the split and it opened up nicely for him. I don't know how strong a gallop they went as they all seemed to be there but he was good over the last. We'll see how he is after that and Frank (Berry) and JP will make a plan for him.
Discordantly 'engages his brain' with Leopardstown win
the cheekpieces did their work, he engaged his brain today and jumped absolutely brilliant.
Doyle delivers with another debutante
my head lad James Rath bought her at the Landrover Sale and he's done most of the work with her. From her first bit of work she's always been super, went really well in her only schooling race and it's just been all good since day one. I really fancied her today and knew she'd handle a nice bit of ground. I'm just thrilled for the owners, James and Rachael Rath. I think she'll be sold and I'll try and hang on to her. She's a nice filly, jumps great and has a nice future.
